How this retatrutide calculator works

This page is limited to arithmetic from entered values. It calculates concentration from vial amount and diluent volume, then converts a known target amount into draw volume and U-100 units. It does not address use, sourcing, or product suitability.

Formula

Concentration (mg/mL) = peptide amount (mg) / diluent volume (mL)
Target amount (mg) = target amount (mcg) / 1000
Draw volume (mL) = target amount (mg) / concentration (mg/mL)
U-100 units = draw volume (mL) * 100
Amount per U-100 unit (mcg/unit) = concentration (mcg/mL) / 100

Example calculation

For example, a 5 mg vial mixed with 2 mL has a concentration of 2.5 mg/mL. A known target amount of 250 mcg is 0.25 mg. Dividing 0.25 mg by 2.5 mg/mL gives 0.10 mL, which equals 10 units on a U-100 syringe.

Common mistakes

For this page, the most important boundary is not to treat a math result as product guidance. Check every entered number and unit label, and keep the result limited to conversion math.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this calculator a dosage recommendation?

No. This calculator only converts a known target amount into concentration, draw volume, and U-100 units based on the numbers you enter. It does not choose an amount, check whether an amount is appropriate, or replace guidance from a qualified professional.

What are U-100 syringe units?

U-100 units are a volume scale. On a U-100 syringe, 100 units equals 1 mL, so 10 units equals 0.10 mL. Units do not directly equal mg or mcg unless you also know the concentration of the solution.

How do I convert mg to mcg?

Multiply milligrams by 1000 to get micrograms. For example, 0.25 mg equals 250 mcg, and 1 mg equals 1000 mcg. This conversion is used before calculating draw volume from concentration.

What does peptide reconstitution mean?

Reconstitution means combining a dry vial amount with a measured diluent volume. The math result is concentration, usually shown as mg per mL or mcg per mL. The calculator then uses that concentration with your known target amount.

Why do syringe units depend on concentration?

Syringe units measure volume, not mass. The same 10 units can contain different mcg amounts when the vial amount or diluent volume changes. That is why concentration must be calculated before units can be interpreted.
